DCS Company is a high & new-technology automation enterprise specializing in DCS research and development, production, engineering and service. With the support from Ministry of Electric Power, Ministry of Machine-building Industry, and State Economic and Trade Commission, the company was established in 1992 and is wholly owned by SAIC. It provides services for many industries including power station, petrochemicals, metallurgy, cement, chemical engineering, environmental protection, and rail transportation, etc., and it has professional and mature technologies especially in DCS of power station. By the end of 2009, the company has undertaken more than 500 engineering projects, of which more than 100 projects are for 300MW to 600MW thermal power stations. The company mainly provides the following products: DCS engineering service for large power station, advanced DCS products in SUPMAX series, SIPHD-series software products for large-capacity and high-speed industrial real-time database, and SUPVUE-series software products for flexible automation monitoring. Established in 1958, No.7 automatic instrument factory of SAIC is an enterprise with the longest history of designing and manufacturing control valves. The factory has successively been voted as High & New-technology Enterprise of Shanghai since 1993 and Civilized Organization of Shanghai since 1995.

The factory manufactures 3 types of products: pneumatic/ electric control valve, pneumatic/ electric-pneumatic valve localizer, and pneumatic auxiliary instrument, etc., which are widely used in many fields as chemical engineering, metallurgy, petroleum, power station, and military industry, etc. The factory was awarded National Special Equipment Design & Manufacturing License (pressure conduit) in 2004 and CE authentication certificate in 2007.

The factory has also entered into the nuclear power industry to fill up a blank space of the country: it has completed a key national project during “8th five-year plan” period---self-control valve for nuclear power plant, key national project during “9th five-year plan” period---Grade-1E electric control valve and pneumatic scour-proof control valve for nuclear power plant. In 2000, the factory was honored “Civil-use nuclear pressure equipment design/ manufacturing license of PLC”, which made the factory the first enterprise at home designing and manufacturing nuclear-grade control valve. In the recent 6 years, the factory has provided a large number of nuclear-grade control valves for Stage-I, II, and III projects of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant, Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant, and Pakistan Nuclear Power Plant.

The factory has strong capacity in design and manufacturing, and it has 6 series of products (traditional DDZ series, A/M, AI/MI, ID/IDM, TK/KI and HA/HM series in Rotork technology imported from Britain) and nearly 100 electric actuator models, which covers many fields including thermal power, nuclear power, sewage treatment, waste incineration, and petrochemical engineering, etc. The factory enjoys a high reputation, and its products have been honored Famous-brand Product of Shanghai for 14 successive years.

Scope of services:

Provide spare parts services in centralized purchase of large customer, and select instrument control equipment model for customer and provide maintenance, repair and calibration services in its overhaul or technical innovation.校正。
